CORONAVIRUS | We have to set up roadblocks to curb the spread of Covid-19, as well as restrict people’s movement, says Abdul Hamid Bador.

The public should stop blaming the police for the traffic congestion due to roadblocks being mounted to ensure compliance to the movement control order , said Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador.

“We have to set up roadblocks across the country to curb the spread of Covid-19, as well as restrict the people’s movement. Abdul Hamid said in the event of traffic congestion during roadblocks, the public should be patient as the police were doing their job to ensure only those who are allowed to leave home could pass through.

“They should think about the traffic congestion on highways and in Kuala Lumpur before the MCO was enforced... don’t blame the roadblocks for the traffic congestion now,” he said while expressing regrets over the attitude of some members of the public in criticising the police for mounting roadblocks throughout the country.

Malaysians will blame just about anything under the sun for their own selfish needs

People are calling your running dogs idiots because they are funnelling traffic into one lane at your roadblocks. Why are your running dogs so lazy? Why can't they funnel traffic into 4 or 5 lanes and make life easier for everyone including all your running dogs?

Kalau orang tak degil takda isu.
