RAMALLAH: Kementerian Pendidikan Palestin mengesahkan lebih 15,000 kanak-kanak terbunuh sejak permulaan pencerobohan Israel di Semenanjung Gaza, dengan majoritinya adalah pelajar sekolah dan tadika, selain 64 pelajar di Tebing Barat serta Baitulmuqaddis.
Kenyataan itu turut menekankan tindakan penceroboh Israel memusnahkan sekolah dan tadika, selain menyasarkan orang awam termasuk kanak-kanak, menyekat makanan dan perkhidmatan kesihatan serta pelanggaran serius lain terhadap sistem hak asasi manusia. Menurut kementerian sama, kebanyakan mereka kini berdepan trauma psikologi dan kesihatan yang serius.
