PETALING JAYA: In conjunction of the International Women's Day, NGO Empower has reminded the Pakatan Harapan government of its election pledge to place more women in decision-making positions in politics.

Empower pointed out that Pakatan, in its first year of power, had implemented various relevant initiatives through state-run institutions, including the appointment of Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the nation's first female deputy prime minister.
