Malaysia's Cheah Liek Hou celebrate after beat Indonesia's Suryo Nuqroho for Men's Single SU5 category on final match during 9th ASEAN Para Games at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil. FAIHAN GHANI/The Star. The 31-year-old Liek Hou, who is gunning for his seventh title in the SU5 class, has world No. 1 Dheva Anrimusthi of Indonesia as his main challenger in the BWF-Para World Championships starting today in Basel, Switzerland.

Dheva has been unstoppable ever since he dethroned Liek Hou as the two-time defending gold medallist at the Asian Para Games in Jakarta last year. “I’ve also dropped to No. 3 in the world ranking. I hope to get a good draw and avoid meeting Dheva in the semis. He should face little trouble to finish top two in the group to qualify for the last 16 knockout stage.
