The man who received financial aid for his daughter’s education returning the money to House of Hope staff Winnie Yeoh yesterday.
The man, a retiree in his 60s, was able to repay the money as his daughter is now a doctor at a hospital in Kedah. A Malay man, in his 60s, walked into the House of Hope at Air Itam about 11am yesterday and surprised the staff. The man then handed over RM1,400 in RM50 notes, saying his daughter had taken over the responsibility of caring for the family.
