Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador said the number of cases increased by 4.3 per cent compared to 20,913 cases recorded in the same period last year. “The current trend of modernisation is contributing to a wide range of current cybercrime trends, which requires the police force to think out-of-the-box to meet the challenges ahead,” he said, in his speech at the closing ceremony of the National Commercial Crimes Conference here today.
