Pemandangan udara menunjukkan Hospital Leishenshan yang siap dibina menggunakan modul pasang siap dalam 10 hari di sebuah tapak letak kenderaan di Wuhan, China.

WUHAN: Sebuah hospital sementara di Wuhan, wilayah Hubei, China menghentikan operasinya hari ini selepas pesakit Covid-19 semakin berkurangan, lapor agensi berita Xinhua. Hospital Leishenshan dibina hanya dalam 10 hari untuk merawat pesakit Covid-19. Kumpulan pesakit yang terakhir dipindahkan ke hospital biasa pada Selasa.

“Penutupan operasi hospital itu satu perkembangan penting selepas berbulan-bulan berjuang memerangi wabak maut itu,” kata Jiao Yahui, seorang pegawai Suruhanjaya Kesihatan Negara. Dalam majlis penutup, doktor dan jururawat mengibarkan bendera serta menulis nama mereka di pakaian rakan seperjuangan sebagai tanda kenangan.“Kami berharap hospital ini tidak akan beroperasi lagi,” kata seorang pegawai daerah sambil diiringi tepukan gemuruh orang ramai.
