HOURS before junior doctors go on strike, Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah has appealed to them not to abandon their duties and walk out on patients.“To our junior colleagues on contract post, I urge all of you, please do not join the demonstration and abandon your duty to your patients. Remember many lives are on the line and the demonstration could affect their lives and even your career. “I wish to remind all that patients’ safety is our priority.
The Govt can pay the many many unnecessary cabinet ministers and deputy ministers high salaries and allowances, they can surely offer these young doctors permanent positions.

When the govt is useless their sacrifice just gone down the drain. They are not doing this for money but they are doing it because they sees no result and a war that have no end.
I'm surprised doctors aren't doing this in many countries. Nurses too.

Your oath is to defend your doctors, not oppressed them. Your oath is to fight for their survival without fear or favour. Your oath is to stand up and fight against double standards.

Because of the oath some had to work 33 hours straight and died in accident due to microsleep being too tired. Saving own life is more important than being a slave.

The Junior doctors deserve better treatment & respect from the Government. They had performed wonderfully during very difficult Covid period.
