Covid-19: 3.2% of 15,902 new cases diagnosed with pneumonia, other severe symptoms

This means that of the 15,902 new infections today, 3.2% of patients were diagnosed with pneumonia or other severe symptoms.

“Some continue to be in the same category throughout the period of infection, while some either improve in status or deteriorate to a more severe category,” Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said in a Facebook post on Saturday. “Those in category three, four and five will be sent to such centres, hospital wards and intensive care units.
