MELAKA: Melaka police are still trying to determine what has happened to 57 children who have gone missing since 2010 until now.

Melaka police are still trying to determine what has happened to 57 children who have gone missing since 2010 until now.

"From the figure, 32 missing child reports were made at the Melaka Tengah district, followed by 21 in Alor Gajah and four in Jasin over the nine years. DCP Mat Kasim also revealed that Melaka recorded a total of 303 missing children cases from 2010 to Oct 2019."There is a possibility that these missing kids could have been involved in human trafficking syndicates, or they just refused to return home," he said.
