PETALING JAYA: Khairy Jamaluddin has joined the chorus of Umno leaders calling for party president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to step down following Barisan Nasional's crushing defeat in the 15th General Election .
Khairy, who failed to snatch the Sungai Buloh seat from Pakatan Harapan in GE15, said senior leaders should not watch idly while the country's future is being pawned off. "Let the leadership and other individuals lead discussions to make the next big decision for this party," Shahril had said in a statement.
