JOHOR BARU: One flood relief centre has closed in Segamat while 46 others are still operating statewide.

Johor Health and Environment Committee chairman R. Vidyananthan said the SMK Dato Bentara Dalam flood relief centre, which housed evacuees from Kampung Sedeng in Segamat, closed on Sunday morning.

“The other operating flood relief centres are 25 in Segamat, 10 in Muar, nine in Tangkak and two in Batu Pahat. He said according to the Johor Disaster Management Committee, cloudy skies were reported in Segamat, Kota Tinggi and Johor Baru as of 4pm Sunday .
