A 73-year-old army retiree was found lying in a pool of blood at his house in Kampung Jenderam Hulu, Sepang after he was repeatedly punched in the face and stabbed with a cake knife by his son, said to be mentally ill.
Sepang district police chief Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof, said the 48-year-old went berserk when police arrived at the family home last Wednesday, around 7pm, and tried to arrest him.
