Following last year’s inaugural Export Excellence Awards (EEA), Star Media Group Bhd (SMG) has once again partnered with Standard Chartered to launch the 2021 edition of the awards programme.

Aimed at recognising Malaysia’s leading exporters, who have contributed to the country’s economy in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, EEA shines a spotlight on the commitment of eminent businesses for their export achievements and success in the international arena.

The launch was also attended by Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Bhd managing director and chief executive officer Abrar A. Anwar and Malaysia Trade External Development Corporation CEO Datuk Wan Latiff Wan Musa. “Clients of different sizes with diverse needs can benefit from the bank’s capabilities and network as we operate in over 60 countries.

“As the national trade promotion agency, Matrade applauds EEA’s commendable effort to recognise and reward high achievers among the exporter community. The main award categories are machinery, electrical and electronics; agriculture, food and beverage; industrial products, consumer products and services, as well as special awards for halal products and Exporter of the Year.
