Release emergency funds to manage Covid-19 in Sabah, govt told

Fatalities from the coronavirus have been recorded almost daily in Sabah for the past week, with four deaths reported yesterday. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Irwan Majid, October 18, 2020.

THE Malaysian Medical Association has urged Putrajaya to release the much needed emergency funds to manage the worsening Covid-19 situation in Sabah. Concerned with the increasing number of daily cases, MMA president Dr M. Subramaniam said the situation might escalate to a critical point much quicker than anticipated.
