KUALA LUMPUR: In the midst of the political crisis engulfing the country, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has attended a conference on the rights of the Palestinian people on Friday (Feb 28).

The interim Prime Minister will deliver a keynote address at the international conference under the theme"South-East Asian Support for the Rights of the Palestinian People" at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre here.

On Monday , Dr Mahathir had resigned from his post as Prime Minister, plunging the country in a state of uncertainty as the whole Cabinet was forced to resign as well.
