Daily Covid-19 cases back in 20,000 mark

With 20,780 new Covid-19 cases recorded today, the national total is now 1,320,547. – The Malaysian Insight pic, August 11, 2021.

MALAYSIA reported 20,780 new Covid-19 cases today, which is the second-highest daily count so far, Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.The daily tally was also back in the 20,000-mark after trending in the 17,000-19,000 range for four days.The last time the daily tally exceeded 20,000 was on August 6, when a record high of 20,889 cases were reported.Selangor topped the tally with 6,921 cases followed by Kuala Lumpur with 2,065. – August 11, 2021.
