Cuepacs proposes setting civil servant minimum wage at RM1,800

Cuepacs president Adnan Mat has presented a proposal to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to set the minimum salary for civil servants at RM1,800 per month. – Facebook pic, July 18, 2023.

Its president Adnan Mat said he presented the proposal when he met Anwar at Bangunan Putra Perdana, Putrajaya, today. “Cuepacs welcomes the prime minister’s announcement on July 7 to review the public service salary scheme, but requests implementation of this new scheme soon by taking into account the recommendations from Cuepacs,” he said in a statement today.
