KUALA LUMPUR: Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) will reduce its Electric Train Set (ETS) and KTM Intercity services from May 17 given the spread of Covid-19.

KTMB chief executive officer Mohd Zain Mat Taha said eight ETS services will be operated instead of 12.

"The services for the KL Sentral-Butterworth route are with business class coaches," he said in a statement on Thursday . Mohd Zain said the KTM Intercity service will operate with 16 services starting April 29 compared to 18 services previously.
