PUTRAJAYA: Another 212 more people in Malaysia have succumbed to Covid-19, says the Health Ministry.

In his daily statement on Monday , Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said 186 of the casualties were Malaysians and 26 were foreign nationals.Of the death cases, some 170 were people with some form of comorbidity.

This was followed by Johor , Kedah , Kuala Lumpur , Pahang , Negri Sembilan , Penang , Sabah , Melaka , Terengganu , Kelantan , Perak , Perlis and Sarawak .Some 97.8% are mild and asymptomatic cases.Of Monday’s total cases, 73.6% involved unvaccinated people.This includes 1,095 patients in intensive care units and 579 who were on ventilator support.So far, 1,041,585 people in Malaysia have recovered from Covid-19.
