Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah berkata jumlah dilaporkan hari ini menjadikan angka keseluruhan maut kini sebanyak 10,961. – Gambar fail The Malaysian Insight, 9 Ogos, 2021.

JUMLAH maut akibat Covid-19 dalam 24 jam terakhir ini menurun kepada 212 selepas rekod tertinggi dicatat semalam, kata Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah hari ini.Dr Noor Hisham berkata jumlah dilaporkan hari ini menjadikan angka keseluruhan maut kini sebanyak 10,961. Katanya lebih 1,000 pesakit kini dirawat di unit rawatan rapi di mana lebih separuh daripada jumlah itu memerlukan alat bantuan pernafasan.

Setakat hari ini, Dr Noor Hisham berkata, seramai 1,095 pesakit dimasukkan ke ICU sementara 579 pesakit memerlukan ventilator. – 9 Ogos, 2021.
