Kuala Kangsar district police chief ACP Omar Bakhtiar Yaacob said they received a report about the robbery at about 11.22am today.“The victims’ car windows were smashed in the jewellery grab worth approximately RM1.4 million,” he said today. According to him, the case is being investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code for committing armed robbery with a threat to cause grievous injury, liable to a maximum of 20 years in prison and whipping if convicted.
