PETALING JAYA: Police arrested 55 people Tuesday (June 30) for breaching recovery movement control order (MCO) rules, says Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri.

The Senior Minister said 11 of those detained were remanded while the remaining 44 were issued compound fines. In his Wednesday media conference in Putrajaya, Ismail Sabri also said police had detained three foreigners for immigation offences at Ops Benteng roadblocks throughout the country.
