The street rally which is in protest of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commission Tan Sri Azam Baki was supposed to be held at 11am Saturday. The rally organisers decided to move the gathering point of the protest to the bridge near Bangsar LRT, after police announced that the initial point of Sogo shopping mall as a prohibited area.
“Members of the public with any matters in Kuala Lumpur especially near the Bangsar LRT station are advised to plan their journeys ahead. “For the sake of peace, safety and health, the public is advised not to partake in any activities that go against the law or prevailing Covid-19 standard operating procedures,” said ACP Amhizam in a statement.
People should not be afraid of their government. Government should be afraid of its people.
