SHUTTLER Ng Tze Yong’s painful defeat in the second round of the Malaysian Open will only make him stronger.

National men’s singles coach Hendrawan believes that the valuable experience gained by Tze Yong in his first World Tour Super 1000 tournament will put him in a good stead as he looks to continue his progress.

The Malaysian had squandered a 19-15 lead in the second game and eventually ran out of steam in the third.“Tze Yong was patient at the start but looked as though he forgot the tactical plan when he was leading 19-15 in the second game. He wanted to win badly and that cost him,” said Hendrawan. “This can’t be taught or handed out but he has to go through the process. There will be ups and downs on his journey to the top,” he said.

Volleyball slap: Coach's license revoked, says Hannah YeohPUTRAJAYA: The volleyball coach who was caught on camera slapping his players recently will no longer be allowed to train in school, says Hannah Yeoh. He deserves it And that’s it? So basically he’s still allowed to teach, just no longer can coach any sports activity? No action taken for the shameless VIOLENCE he did? Sounds like BS to me. He can still go overseas to train!
