KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The Raja Bot market or Chow Kit market here will be closed for seven days from Saturday (July 24) until July 30 for sanitisation works.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall through a notice posted on its Facebook page, said that during the closure, no business activities would be carried out at the market.

Mayor Datuk Rozali Mohamud said MBSP had received a closure notice from the Seberang Prai Tengah district health office after 17 enforcement staff members at the branch office tested positive for Covid-19. "Sanitisation was also carried out at the office while the infected staff and close contacts have been instructed to undergo quarantine," he said when contacted Friday .
