BEIJING: China melaporkan 39 kes baru Covid-19 pada Ahad berbanding 30 kes sehari sebelumnya dan jumlah kes tanpa gejala turut meningkat walaupun Beijing berusaha memerangi penularan virus itu menerusi langkah pembendungan drastik.
Kes import dan pesakit tanpa gejala, yang mempunyai virus itu dan boleh menjangkiti orang lain tanpa menunjukkan sebarang simptom, menjadi kebimbangan utama China dalam beberapa minggu ini selepas langkah pembendungan ketat berjaya mengurangkan kadar jangkitan. Satu jangkitan tempatan baru dilaporkan di Guangdong berbanding 5 kes sehari sebelumnya di wilayah selatan itu.
Suruhanjaya Kesihatan Guangdong meningkatkan tahap risiko bagi 4 daerah di Guangzhou, Shenzhen dan Jieyang daripada rendah kepada sederhana pada Ahad.Jangkitan harian turun secara mendadak berbanding waktu puncak pandemik itu pada Februari lalu, apabila beratus kes dilaporkan setiap hari, tetapi kes baru terus dikesan setiap hari.
