Katanya, kampung berhampiran iaitu Kampung Air Melintas Kecil, Kampung Air Melintas Besar, Kampung Permatang Berangan, Kampung Tok Bedu dan Kampung Kubang Menerong turut terkesan. “Masalah ini menyebabkan sumber bekalan air bagi tanaman padi diusahakan pesawah di lima kampung terbabit tercemar dan mengalami kerosakan,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan di Georgetown, semalam.Katanya, pesawah mendakwa mengalami kerugian puluhan ribu ringgit akibat kerosakan tanaman padi dan kekurangan hasil berikutan ancaman pencemaran najis berkenaan.
