Bolsonaro again dilutes mask law

BRAZILIAN President Jair Bolsonaro yesterday made more changes to weaken a law requiring the wearing of masks in public places to slow the spread of the coronavirus. On Friday, the far-right leader already watered down the bill by vetoing several articles, including one requiring employers to supply masks for their staff and another mandating that public authorities provide face coverings for “economically vulnerable people”.
