Three primary school pupils from SJK Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur, clinched gold in the preliminary round of the International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada 2020.

‘My Soil My Plant’ was one of 500 innovations from 50 countries that were presented during the competition.Toronto International Society of Innovation and Advanced Skills chairman and chief exhibition officer Moonsuk Chang said in a statement that due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the fifth edition of iCAN will be held online for long-distance participants, and there will be no physical functions for exhibition, seminar and award ceremony.
