Yesterday, JBPM received an emergency call at about 10 am about a ferry passenger who suddenly jumped through a window from the fourth floor of the ferry at 6.45 pm on Wednesday.The ferry manager, who witnessed the incident contacted the Sandakan district police headquarters at 8 pm on Wednesday and a team from the Fire and Rescue Department was immediately sent to the scene to begin a search and rescue operation.
