Port Dickson OCPD Supt Aidi Sham Mohamad said police received a call from the public at around 3.45pm Sunday that a man had fallen into the well, which was not fenced.
“Fire and Rescue Department personnel managed to retrieve the victim’s body out which was stuck in mud at the bottom of the well.No identification document was found on the deceased. Supt Aidi said a post-mortem conducted on the victim’s remains on Monday morning revealed that his death was due to drowning.
“Investigations revealed that there was no criminal element in the man’s death, ” he said, adding that the case was classified as sudden death.
