Bagaimanapun Netflix Turki tidak memberikan respon sama ada @love101netflix merupakan akaun palsu atau drama itu ada memaparkan watak gay seperti yang diperkatakan. Pihak berkuasa Turki sebelum ini juga menafikan hak LGBT malah ia diharamkan sejak cubaan rampasan kuasa pada 2016 yang memberi mereka kuasa untuk melarang perhimpunan awam termasuk perarakan “Pride”.
