IT is practical to use technology at accident-prone locations where enforcement personnel cannot be stationed, said Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research director-general Dr Siti Zaharah Ishak. She was referring to a proposal to increase the number of Automated Awareness Safety System cameras at high-risk locations to ensure motorists abide by the speed limit.
