He said at a press conference on Friday the government hoped control would be better with the army's backing.

"We believe with the army's assistance, the movement control will be better enforced," he said in a press conference to provide updates on Covid-19. Ismail Sabri said the army would assist the police in monitoring the situation and ensuring that people stayed at home. He said adherence to the order was increasing among the people, but there were still incidents of people who disregarded it by playing games outdoors, going to playground and eating in food outlets.
