Army to assist cops enforce MCO from Sunday (March 22)

He said at a press conference on Friday the government hoped control would be better with the army's backing.

"We believe with the army's assistance, the movement control would be better enforced," he said in a press conference to provide updates on Covid-19. Ismail Sabri said the army would assist the police in monitoring the situation and ensuring that people stayed in their homes. He said adherence to the order was increasing among the people, but there were still incidents of people who disregarded it by playing games outdoors, going to playground and eating in food outlets.

Memalukan

NO this is not martial law situation. who is liable when they make 'mistakes' ie unnecessary force ? this is a slippery slope you are on. if you use the military now, you will use the military again for other things like political rallies.

I worry next time the government use excuse and using army on political or protested.

Finally.

Why cannot today? Should come in full battalion and all states. Don’t do things half past six!

Also pls find those 4000 tablighs people yg engkar arahan utk pergi Covid-19 check-up. So selfish of them not to follow orders😒 They may be walking around amongst us or everywhere.

Ni pun siap berhemah berlembut lagi bagi notis 2 hari so I hope lepas ni no more stubborn ones. Sedih tengok Italy had to let the elder ones mati just like that cos dah too overwhelming to take care of everyone.

On Sunday only? Or from Sunday onwards?

Would like to see the self-centred kind arguing with them. About 'What ban?', 'I have rights!' and such.

This is like a coup and it has shame our police for unable to handle internal issue, there is no violence protesters, no arm civilian, not civik unrest but we use minitary, seem like we been force into a curfews without a declaration
