SANDAKAN: Warisan president Shafie Apdal declared today that he knows how to judge who can work and could not when it comes to serving the people.
He was commenting on criticisms over his pick for the Sungai Sibuga seat, Armani Mahiruddin, whom some claim was chosen only because she is the sister of Sabah governor Juhar Mahiruddin. Shafie denied allegations that he was bribed by Juhar to put the latter's sister as a candidate in the polls saying he has known Armani's abilities as a leader since her days as the Sabah Umno Women's chief. She joined Warisan following the 2018 general election .
Shafie said this in Kampung Tinusa, here, this afternoon when campaigning for Armani, and where he also welcomed 200 Libaran PPBM members into Warisan.View More Commentary
