KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 16 ― Apple has introduced a new iPad Air which is completely redesigned for 2020. Apart from having a new exterior, the new iPad Air is running on what appears to be the same chip that would power the upcoming iPhone 12. The new Air now comes with stereo speakers which is great for watching video content in landscape mode. Unfortunately, there’s no longer a 3.5mm headphone jack so you’ll have to get a dongle or go completely wireless.

Under the hood, it runs on a powerful 5nm A14 Bionic chip that boasts a 6-core CPU, 4-core GPU and a 16-core next generation Neural Engine. According to Apple, this is the most powerful chip they have ever made and it boasts 11.8 billion transistors.
