Shafie, who is Warisan president, recently hit out at certain quarters for harping on the Philippine’s claim on Sabah and linking the controversy to him during the election season.
But Anifah, a former foreign minister, said the issue wasn’t about the elections, but about how Shafie was seen to have mishandled the issue.
