POLICE busted a drug trafficking ring with the seizure of more than 260kg of syabu worth about RM8.5 million in a raid on an apartment in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur on Saturday. Kuala Lumpur deputy police chief Yahaya Othman said a man was arrested in the raid, and following that, police nabbed six more men in raids conducted in several states.The suspects, aged between 24 and 47, are believed have been active since last July and all of them are in remand for seven days until Saturday for help in investigations under section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952,” he told a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today.

He said the drugs are believed to have been obtained from the northern states before being sent to Kuala Lumpur for distribution. – Bernama, September 20, 2022.
