Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Selangor dalam kenyataannya hari ini memaklumkan penutupan itu membabitkan seramai 45,265 pelajar keseluruhannya.
Menurutnya, ia membabitkan pecahan 38,217 bagi Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Klang dan selebihnya iaitu seramai 7,048 bagi kawasan PPD Kuala Langat. “Bagi kedua-dua PPD ini, bilangan sekolah yang ditutup masing-masing adalah 16 sekolah kebangsaan, tujuh sekolah menengah kebangsaan dan tiga masing-masing untuk sekolah jenis kebangsaan Cina dan sekolah jenis kebangsaan Tamil ,” katanya.
JPNS turut mengingatkan pihak sekolah menutup sekolah serta-merta sekiranya bacaan indeks pencemaran udara di kawasan mereka melebihi bacaan 200 mengikut Surat Siaran Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia Bilangan 1/2019.
