PUTRAJAYA: Kementerian Pengangkutan Malaysia mengemukakan 23 cadangan untuk menambah baik secara sistematik prosedur dan garis panduan operasi kepada Jemaah Menteri berhubung insiden pelanggaran Transit Aliran Ringan Laluan Kelana Jaya yang berlaku 24 Mei lalu.
Menteri Pengangkutan, Datuk Seri Dr. Wee Ka Siong berkata, laporan penuh Jawatankuasa Siasatan yang diketuai Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Pengangkutan, Datuk Isham Ishak, telah dibentangkan kepada Jemaah Menteri pada 9 Jun lalu. “Lima langkah jangka pendek dilaksanakan dalam tempoh tiga bulan dengan menetapkan dua Hostler bagi mengendalikan tren secara manual ketika di dalam terowong dan lampu suluh berkuasa tinggi dibekalkan kepada Hostler untuk memudahkan tugas mereka ketika di dalam terowong,” katanya menerusi kenyataan disini, hari ini.
“Penubuhan Jawatankuasa Pengawasan untuk menjalankan audit terhadap tanda arah/penanda landasan dan Penubuhan Jawatankuasa Keselamatan untuk melaporkan audit keselamatan kepada pengurusan kanan Prasarana dan Rapid Rail bagi tujuan semakan serta pemantauan,” jelasnya.
