KOTA KINABALU: Police have detained 14 people believed to be members of a secret society with suspected links to the notorious Double Seven gang, including its ringleader, at Inanam Point near here.
Sabah Criminal Investigation Department chief Senior Asst Comm Azmi Abd Rahim said his men from the Anti-Vice, Gambling and Secret Societies Division made the arrest with the help of police from the Inanam station. He said they seized a toy gun imitating a C15 pistol, a meat cleaver, as well as a samurai sword in the operation.
