NEARLY 114,000 consumers in several locations in Sabah and Labuan experienced electricity supply disruption following a simultaneous power trip at several independent power producers in Sepanggar yesterday evening. Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd senior general manager Norhizami Abu Hasan said 18% of users were affected by the power cut, which occurred at 5.59pm.
