Breaking Woman found not guilty of the murder of her husband Philip Doyle in Co Wexford in January 2020

Sarah Doyle, 32, with an address at The Heath in Ramsgate Village, Gorey, denied murdering her husband, 33-year-old Philip Doyle, in the early hours of 26 January, 2020.

There were several phone calls between Philip and Sarah and two texts from Philip:"where da f... are you" and"if you wake any of the kids you'll be sleeping in the front garden". One man who lived nearby said he had seen Mr Doyle give his wife"a slap on the head" one day when the couple were arguing; another neighbour said she saw Sarah Doyle with bruising twice, and another said she had seen Sarah with a bruise on her arm one day and, another day, with a black eye.

She also said that, upon her return,"he started punching me so I went upstairs and I punched her [Jackie] in her sleep".

Another piece of incompetence by Paul Green!! She stabbed him to death and just walks out the door free as a bird! Unbelievable

So she stabbed him twice and isn’t guilty? If a man did that to his wife he’d be put away. Ireland never fails to surprise

Tusla apologises to woman raped in foster homeThe Chief Executive of the Child and Family Agency Tusla has publicly apologised to a woman who was repeatedly raped by her foster father over a seven-year period. What an inspirational & strong woman…she’s owed a debt of gratitude. No amount of apologies will change the fact that the poor girl was viciously raped for a long time. Pitiful, empty apologies. You have failed this girl and many like her. If you Google 'Tusla apology' you get a very busy list.
