The Traitors ' return appears to be have been confirmed with a celebrity version 'close' in a move sure to split viewers.
Sources claim an agreement between Studio Lambert - which makes the UK and US versions of The Traitors - and the BBC - which broadcasts the programme - is almost done. According to Deadline, Claudia Winkleman is set to carry on - and execs are very keen on some huge showbiz names taking part alongside her.Given the roster of big-name Traitors fans loving the last series, the BBC is said to have big ambitions for the calibre of guests it could attract.
Speaking to The News Agents podcast back in January, Studio Lambert boss Stephen Lambert had said a celeb version was “obviously a possibility.” The BBC declined the opportunity to comment when approached by the Mirror today.
