Man's 'work smarter, not harder' lawn mowing hack leaves people in stitches

Spring is in full bloom, which means sunshine is here and the gardeners are back outside planting flowers, pruning hedges and, of course, mowing lawns. Depending on the size of your garden, though, cutting the grass regularly can either feel like a relaxing activity or a complete chore.

In the 16-second clip, a maroon people carrier is seen driving around the front of a white clapboarded house on a main road. The words 'my neighbor is so lazy' are branded across the middle of the footage and it's only when you see what's at the back of the car do you realise why.A lawnmower is hanging off the back of the open boot and bouncing wildly across the grass in an seeming attempt at cutting it.

Another added: "I love it," as a few others left a series of laughing emojis. It was unclear exactly where the video, filmed from across the road and liked 70 times, was taken but one user just commented: "redneck". Whether or not this person's gardening hack worked effectively, driving across a lawn is unlikely to do the grass any favours.
