After watching a New Bay colt sell to Godolphin on Tuesday, the former jockey saw a filly out of Havana Grey sell for the exact same price some 24 hours later

Katie Walsh sold a horse for 525,000 guineas for the second day in a row at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale on Wednesday.

The filly was purchased by Bharani racing operation KHK Racing, who sourced dual Group 1 winner Vandeek at this sale last year.KHK Racing also forked out 600,000gns for a Persian King colt from Tally-Ho Stud, but it was the powerful Godolphin operation who once again topped the sale for money spent. The very last unraced horse offered at public auction by the incomparable Galileo topped the sale by selling for 1,000,000 guineas to Godolphin. The sale is only the second time seven figures has been breached at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale and is the third highest price ever achieved at a European breeze up sale.

Godolphin forked out a further 800,000gns on a Blue Point colt sold by Francesca and Charlie Poste, consigning as Station Yard, and spent the same amount on a Kingman colt out of the Listed winning mare Pure Excellence, which was sold by Michael O'Leary's brother Eddie’s Lynn Lodge Stud.
