Gardai have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a fatal crash that happened near Swinford, Co Mayo last August.
A woman aged in her 70s, identified locally as Margaret Conway from Tourmakeady, was a passenger in one of the cars and was fatally injured. Many tributes were paid to the beloved married mother-of-five and grandmother-of-16, who was remembered for her "great sense of humour." A Garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí in Swinford investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred in Swinford, Co. Mayo on Monday, 21st August 2023, are renewing their appeal for information.
