Gardaí have released the young man in his teens who was arrested following a tragic road collision in which a teenage girl died.
The passenger of the car involved, a female youth in her teens, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her body has been removed from the scene. A post-mortem will be conducted in the coming days. No other serious injuries to persons have been reported.The driver of the car, a male youth in his teens, was arrested on suspicion of offences under the Road Traffic Act and detained at a Garda Station in Wicklow. He has since been released from custody.
